In 2004, the Alzheimer’s Association presented its inaugural gala in the Nation’s Capital to raise the profile of Alzheimer’s disease and its devastating toll on America’s families and recognize advances in Alzheimer research.

Over the last three years, many of our country’s most influential and respected political, business and social leaders have come together through the Gala to lead the fight against Alzheimer’s. Given their collective support, this special event has raised to date more than $3.5 million for supportive programs and services for diagnosed individuals, their families and caregivers, and cutting-edge Alzheimer research.
