Gift a gift of hope and you can make a difference in the lives of the individuals, families and caregivers who face the ravages of Alzheimer's disease on a daily basis. As an individual, your can make your contribution through one or more of the following opportunities:

Giving to the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter has never been easier! You can make your contribution through one or more of the following ways:

  • Secure Online Contribution which could be either a general contribution or a memorial/tribute gift. Please remember to specify the local National Capital Area Chapter if you would like your donation to benefit your local community.

  • Donation Form: download a donation form (PDF) to be used for either mail or fax.

You may also make your gift over the phone via credit card by calling the Chapter Office at 703-359-4440 or toll-free 1-800-272-3900. Due to the possibility of theft, we discourage sending gifts of cash through the mail. Please stop by one of our offices if you wish to make a gift of cash.

General Donation: Your contribution to the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area helps us to continue our work to support people with the disease and to fund research to improve treatment, care and prevention strategies. On behalf of the staff, volunteers, donors and - most importantly - those who are battling Alzheimer's on a daily basis - we thank you very much for your support.

Memorial or Tribute Gifts: The National Area Chapter encourages gifts in remembrance or in honor of family members, friends and colleagues. These special contributions may be made either by check or credit card (see above for specific instructions). When making a memorial or tribute gift, please provide the following information:

  • Name of the deceased/honored
  • Name and address of the donor for acknowledgement purposes
  • Name and address of the family member(s) to be notified of the gift.
