Thank you for considering a contribution to support the work of the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter. The primary mission of the Alzheimer's Association is to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Until the cure is found, though, we will continue to support, educate and improve the quality of life for the people who have the disease, their families and caregivers in Northern Virginia, suburban Maryland and the District of Columbia. With your help we will continue to stand by those in need.
The majority of funding for the National Capital Area Chapter comes from the general public - people like you. Your gift helps us to continue our work to support people with the disease and to fund research to improve treatment, care and prevention strategies. We greatly appreciate your support.
Please join us in at least one of the following ways…you will make a difference!
- Participate in Events - The Alzheimer's Association holds many fundraising events on an annual basis, including walks, bike rides, golf tournaments, luncheons and galas. Whatever your interest, there is a way for you to get involved, have fun and help bring us one step closer to a cure.
- Make a Donation - The Alzheimer's Association relies on the support of individuals, corporations and foundations to fund our organization's education, patient services and research initiatives. The Alzheimer's Association offers many convenient ways to support the search for a cure, including secure online donations, memorial and tribute gifts, a downloadable form for mailing a contribution, as well as other opportunities such as wills and estate planning, gifts of stocks and securities and workplace giving campaigns.
- Corporate Giving - See how your corporation can help by sponsoring local events or underwriting community education programs, patient services programs or professional educational programs. You can also learn more about the impact of Alzheimer's on the corporate community.
